Very simple, light and high-precision Shoft shifter for almost all BMW model 5 and 6-speed gearboxes for mounting on the gearbox tunnel.
All moving parts are guided in high-precision bearings and joints and the centering spring for the shift lever is incorporated in the housing, resulting in a very tidy and simple look.
The shifter/gear lever is screwed onto the vehicle tunnel, the orig. Shift rod can still be used.

Shifter is designed for use in motorsport and is recommended for use with solid engine mounts. In order to enable a very short shift travel, the shift lever also has a locking function. You can limit shift travel to your set range block reverse gear, or first + second or fifth + sixth gears. However, when you want to shift into those gears, all you have to do is press the button on top and it's unlocked, allowing full movement of the shifter in any direction. The baseplate has full coverage from below, so you won't get water splashes and smoke through the switch hole.
